What I collect
This blog has no accounts, no comments and no sign-up forms. The web server keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser and the page asked for) to keep the site running and safe. These logs are deleted after a short time.
Visit counting
The site counts visits on its own server: which page was opened, where the visit came from (for example a search engine or X), the kind of device (phone, tablet or computer) and which links to other sites were clicked. It does not store your IP address or browser details for this, and it sets no cookies. To tell visits apart it keeps a random number in your browser for as long as the tab is open, plus a small “visited before” flag.
Google Analytics (only if you agree)
A small bar asks if I may use Google Analytics. If you tap “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics loads and sets its own cookies to count visits. Advertising cookies, ad personalization and Google Signals stay off. If you tap “No thanks”, nothing from Google loads. To change your choice, clear this site's cookies and local storage in your browser. How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Cookies and local storage
Your browser keeps a few small values for this site: that you confirmed you are 18 or older, your analytics choice, and the visit-counting values above. Google Analytics adds its own cookies only if you accept it.
Links to other sites
Other sites I link to have their own privacy rules. Read them before you sign up anywhere.
Your rights
